When a call button is pressed the button will lock in and the alarm signal is transmitted 5 times, an LED indicator will flash to show the message has been sent.
When the signal is received by the Central Monitor, the call points corresponding LED indicator is illuminated on the front and an audio sounder alerts the user that there is an alarm. The appointed responder can then read the text beside the indicator and give an announcement for action. The audio sounder can be muted for approx. 25 seconds but will continue to sound until the call point button has been released by twisting, as indicated by the arrows on the front.
